Better Life ft. Preeti Jain, Resident, Lodha World Towers

Your home should spark inspiration and excitement within you, and that's certainly the case for Preeti Jain, a jewellery designer and resident of Lodha World Towers. Located in the always buzzing Lower Parel, this property is at Mumbai's most sought-after locations, and sports some of the best views in the city. This is an important factor for Jain, who finds ample inspiration in the Mumbai skyline and the stunning views from the property. In an interview with Tweak India as part of their Better Life with Lodha series, Jain talks about how her home inspires her professional endeavours.

"As a jewellery designer, the view from my home gives me endless inspiration. I like sitting here when I work because this amazing skyline motivates me to work harder and push myself," says the business owner, who is also a qualified doctor with a fellowship in dermatology. She adds that her view of the sea helps keep her grounded and in touch with her roots when she needs to relax.

Jain took the pandemic as an opportunity to focus on her passion - jewellery design. In spite of completing her fellowship in dermatology, she chose to pivot towards her creative calling. She shares that the natural elements and expansive range of amenities at The World Towers played a big role in inspiring her designs. "Some of my best pieces have been created here," she says with a smile.

On days she is not working or juggling between responsibilities, this jewellery designer engages with the people that reside in The World Towers. Jain finds that she can expand her horizons from the comfort of her home. "A lot of the people I've met here are from completely different fields of work and they've taught me many things. My favourite pastime is talking to people who can help me learn more about myself and the world," she shares.

While her home inspires her work, she says that it also gives her the freedom to relax and strike a balance between all her responsibilities. "My home is a place that helps me make my life better by planning it well. People go on vacations to escape but for me, my home is my escape. A place where I can relax completely and just be myself," says Jain, who likes to kick back with a cup of masala chai and some old Bollywood tunes. She also avails of all the luxurious amenities the property has to offer to its residents.

While the Lodha brand is already synonymous with luxury living in India, they have now taken its offerings to the next level with the inception of its hospitality arm called Saint Amand. Jain loves visiting the clubhouse at The World Towers and sitting poolside, getting the hotel treatment in the comfort of her own home.

The World Towers are a stunning glass and steel sculpture composed of three towers that are uniquely curvilinear in shape. Designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, these towers are a powerful symbol of Mumbai's unbridled aspirations and unstoppable drive, soar and redefine the city's skyline. Offering the ultimate living experience, The World Towers is prominently located on the Mumbai Mile, a gleaming stretch of land where landmark residential and commercial developments rub shoulders with the finest hotels, luxury retail stores, and premium entertainment venues, and is bordered by the lush Mahalaxmi Race Course.
